Welcome

What to Expect at Futures Fair

Futures Fair gives students the chance to connect with representatives from 60+ postsecondary institutions—local, in-state, out-of-state, and even international. It’s a valuable opportunity to explore options, ask questions, and start planning for what’s next.

While the event is geared toward high school juniors, students from any grade are welcome to attend. Many schools bring students by bus during assigned time slots. If your school hasn’t secured a time, please contact Laura Barker to schedule. With more than 35 high schools and over 2,000 students attending, knowing your arrival time helps ensure a smooth experience for everyone.

Please note: Futures Fair pauses from 11:35 a.m.–12:20 p.m. for an exhibitor lunch break.

StriveScan (Highly Recommended)

Students are strongly encouraged to create a StriveScan account before attending and bring their barcode (on a phone or printed). Representatives can quickly scan this code to share information—saving time and allowing students to focus on meaningful conversations instead of filling out forms.

We HIGHLY encourage all students to create a Strive Scan account BEFORE the event and bring their barcode to Futures Fair. The barcode can be scanned (from their device) by representatives to collect contact information and other educational components. Barcodes help make a student’s time at the event more efficient and allows them the opportunity to visit with reps versus filling out contact information cards.

$1,000 Futures Fair Scholarship

In 2026, three $1,000 scholarships will be awarded.

Three participating high schools or homeschools will be randomly selected. Each selected school will then choose one scholarship recipient from among their students who attended Futures Fair.

2025 winners: Andover High School, Northwest High School, and East High School

Counselor Hospitality Room

High school counselors are invited to stop by the Hospitality Room for refreshments while visiting the fair and collecting materials to bring back to their schools. The room is located in the Champion’s Club.

A list of participating exhibitors will be posted as they register beginning in August. Check back often to see who’s attending.
