Who will be at Futures Fair?

Futures Fair is open to high school students, their parents/guardians, and high school counselors from Sedgwick County. We expect attendance to be around 2,500 students.

When is Futures Fair? 

Tuesday, October 17, 2017 (day session only from 8 a.m.- 3 p.m.) Doors will be open at 7 a.m. for exhibitors on Tuesday, Oct. 17. The first wave of students will be arriving at 8 a.m.

Where will Futures Fair be held?

Futures Fair will be held in Koch Arena on the campus of Wichita State University, 1845 Fairmount St. Wichita, KS 67260.

Directions: Wichita State University is located at the intersection of 21st Street North and Hillside Avenue in Wichita, Kansas.

What size are the booths?

A six-foot table, two chairs and a sign with the name of the institution is provided. All marketing displays and materials should fit on your table and are limited to 36" above the table. No additional furniture or props may be be brought in for display.

How much is a booth?

Booths are $150 each. Exhibitors may request one or two booths. A $50 late fee will apply if registered after Sept. 30, 2017.

What time can we begin setting up our booths?

Set-up will be held on Monday, October 16 from 3 to 5 p.m. in Koch Arena. Doors will be open at 7 a.m. for exhibitors on Tuesday, Oct. 17. The first wave of students will be arriving at 8 a.m.

Where will we park?

There are many spots open around Koch Arena. The Futures Fair coordinator will email you a parking pass for the day.

How do I request electricity and internet services?

There will be a section on the online registration form that will allow you to request electricity. There is no charge for the use of electricity, however institutions must supply their own electrical extension cord and/or power strip. Exhibitors will be able to log on to the Wichita State University guest internet service. 

What is GoToCollegeFairs.com

Many exhibitors use the GoToCollegeFairs mobile device app to scan student barcodes. Student barcodes contain their contact information that you can later download and view. We encourage you to get the app set up prior to Futures Fair.

Will there be food and/or beverages available to exhibitors?

A continental breakfast, lunch, and beverages will be available during the day session. Two tickets per booth will be provided to access hospitality. Additional tickets may be requested on the online registration form. Payment in advance is requested for additional tickets. 

When is the registration deadline?

Register Online no later than Sept. 30, 2017 to avoid the $50 late fee.
